After reading the reviews, I bought it anyway because we had a good experience with this brand of monitors in the past. I have come to believe it is hit or miss with this type of monitor. Ours was a dud. It must be the luck of the draw. I tried all of the trouble shooting suggestions and nothing worked.
I bought one of these and after 2 weeks the wire to charge no longer properly connected for some reason so couldn't get it to stay charged. Returned and got a second and same problem. Would not buy this again - I didn't drop or anything - just wouldn't connect to get electricity to the unit.
