Sony Baby Call Nursery Monitor Review

Sony Baby Call Nursery Monitor Review
* It has no battery light (so you don't know when the battery is going to run out) and therefore have to keep it plugged in most of the time. Otherwise, mine tends to shut down in the middle of the night while I'm asleep and since we all sleep with noisemakers I would otherwise never hear a baby crying (the monitor makes a light beeping sound when it is about to run out of battery)

* The other thing is that it seems to have interference with cell phones so if you have a cell phone next to it - it will make this annoying beep-beep-beep sound. It also has a lot of interference in general and you have to frequently change the "channels"

Don't waste your money. I have seen and used the Fisher Price brand model and it works WAY better than this piece of junk.

I've tried a few different monitors and this one I feel has had the shortest range. It also is super sensitive to anything that come between it and the base. So if you walk between the monitors it often will just start beeping. When it's out of range it just starts beeping as well. To get an idea of range, we use it in our kids room and we need to keep the monitor about 40 feet or so away in a funny place on the floor to ensure it doesn't just start beeping randomly. I'd recommend looking for a monitor with a better range.
