A slight word of caution to all of you fellow parents out there looking for a great video monitor. We've bought a few monitors and while the safety 1st HD video monitor was our favorite from of functionality stand point, it unfortunately was defective after 5 months. We replaced it with another monitor after attempting to get help from safety 1st (but didn't want to have our child who was sick with the flu to not have a monitor for months) and after only 6 months, the new monitor we bought was also defective. To make matters worse, safety 1st has discontinued that product and their support for it. It was the highest end version of their baby monitoring line, before this 'prism' model was recently added. So unfortunately my advice is to avoid buying this product, and probably any product's sold by Safety 1st for fear of ending up in the same spot we are. We're researching other brands and I'll report back when we find one that works and has support.
