Fisher-Price Mom Response Video Baby Monitor with Remote Control, 2.4 GHz - White/Grey Review

Fisher-Price Mom Response Video Baby Monitor with Remote Control, 2.4 GHz - White/Grey Review
I love this item. I keep it plugged in next to the bed, so I don't really use the battery too much, but I agree that it's a problem with the monitor. (The only problem, I would say.) My battery only lasts 30-45 minutes if the unit is unplugged.

That aside, I love this monitor. I can see whether or not it's worth going upstairs when my daughter makes noise and when she wakes up in the morning or from naptime, I can start soothing music from my receiver to her transmitter. It definitely helps ease the wake-up period.
We picked this specific monitor because of the brand and it was one of the more expensive ones at the store but still not breaking the bank (we've been burnt before by trying to save and pick the cheapest item...learning the hard way that you get what you pay for). Great looking product with awesome features, but within about 3-4 months the product started to deteriorate. First the picture began flickering...next thing you know the picture began freezing. With that came the audio not working periodically. The monitor receiver would be on the night table next to my wife, and I would hear the baby cry through the hallway without the monitor picking it up! It works periodically, but should be more dependable...for atleast the 1st year! I thought that maybe it was just mine, but after researching other reviews, learned it is a problem with the product.

Unless you get it second hand, I do not recommend this product.
